Each patient received two implants; one in each side. On one side, the implant osteotomy was prepared usingconventional surgical drills while on the other side, Densah burs were used. Implant stability was measured at implant insertionand time of loading using Osstell device. Mean margial bone loss was measured at 6 and 12 month interval using Cone BeamCT scan.Results: Statistical Significant difference was noted between both types of drills on primary implant stability but not onsecondary implant stability or mean marginal bone loss at 6 and 12 month interval.Conclusion: Densah drilling Burs may improve initial implant stability; a situation that may help when immediate loading ofimplants is planned especially if they are splinted.
